Adeline Souza was born in Keyes, Calif. and attended Hughson schools. She married Manuel S. Souza in 1941, and settled in Turlock. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Souza owned and operated Manuel S. Souza Dairy and the Diamond Hay Company. Mrs. Souza was a member of Sacred Heat Catholic Church in Turlock. She loved and was dedicated to her family and was always involved with their activities.   
Mrs. Souza was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel S. Souza; her twin infant daughters, Rosemary and Virginia Souza; her brothers, Manuel and Frank Teixeira; and her sister, Emily Damas.  
She is survived by her sons, Ray (Lynette) Souza and John (Joellen) Souza; her sister, Lorraine (Manuel) Martins; her grandchildren, Jaymilyn (Dr. Robert) Barandica and John (Michelle) Souza Jr.; and her great grandchild, Dominic Barandica.  
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., in Turlock. Entombment will be private at Chapel of the Flowers Mausoleum at Turlock Memorial Park.
