Aleta peacefully passed away in Turlock after ashort illness at 86 years of age. 

Born in Tulare, CA, her family moved to Turlock in 1951. 

She graduated from Turlock High school in 1955 worked at Turlock Irrigation District from 1955- 1961. 

She married Henry Stone of Berkeley, CA in 1958 and they moved to Livingston that same year. They lived in Livingston where Henry taught at Livingston High School until his untimely death in 1973.

Aleta moved to Turlock in 1976 where she raised their two children—Gayle and Henry (Hank). She worked in the Livingston High School library until in 2005.

Preceded in death by her hus- band Henry Stone III and her son Henry Stone IV (Hank).

She’s survived by her daughter Gayle (Jesse) Romero, granddaughter Whitney Ellen Pifer, great grandchildren Berkeley Ellen Pifer and Bennett Edward Pifer, and many wonderful and caring friends.
