Audrey Morrison, 88 of Alexandria, Va., passed away Aug. 21, 2010 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. She was the wife of Lt. Colonel (Air Force) Marvis C. Morrison, mother of Kimberly Morrison Bell of Alexandria and Brian A. (Susan) Morrison of Greensboro and grandmother of Kaitlyn and Kyle Morrison of Greensboro.
Born Oct. 14, 1921 in Turlock, the daughter of Elmer and Hazel Hansen, Audrey graduated from the University of California, Berkley in 1943 with a degree in Home Economics. Audrey was a loving wife and mother. She performed the duties of a career officer’s wife. She was employed with the Fairfax County School System for over 10 years.
A private ceremony will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
