In loving memory of Benita Leonesio; born February 29, 1936, and passed into the arms of Jesus Christ on February 10, 2013.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 56 years, Cleve Leonesio, and her sister, Marie Peterson. She is survived by four children: Greg Leonesio (Sherry), Marjorie Trammell,  Jean Leonesio, Anna Leonesio; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, and a long time resident of Walnut Creek and Lake Tahoe, Ca., she was a military wife for twenty years.  She orchestrated several moves around the world, including the Philippines and Puerto Rico.
Benita was tenacious, generous, and had a servant’s heart. She was an avid reader, passionate about politics, and a lover of music and dogs.  She loved her family and friends deeply.  Her faith in almighty God was not shaken during her trial with COPD.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who came alongside her in her time of need. Your sharing, fellowship, prayers, and food were deeply appreciated.  Before she passed we shared with her a song of David, Psalm 23, and she smiled.
