Ms. Beverly Ann Pritchard, age 68, passed away on the morning of Ash Wednesday, March 5 th, 2025, in Kaiser Permanente Hospital in South Sacramento, CA after a 3-year battle with cancer. She was born on June 16th, 1956 in Modesto, California to Richard “Dick” Nels Pritchard and Mary Dell Pritchard both of Turlock, California, where she was raised and lived most of her life.

“Bev”, as she was affectionately known, was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Pritchard. She is survived by her 92-year-old father, Dick Pritchard, her eldest son, Tommy (Molly) Russell of Bend, Oregon and her twin children Chad Russell of Turlock and Aimee

(Joey Sutterfield) Russell of Elk Grove, her three sisters Carolyn (Lonnie) Humphrey, Janet (Jaime) Hutcheson, and Sharon (Mike) Ostrander and brother Mark (Buffy) Pritchard, She also had four granddaughters: Abigail Alice Russell and Ellie Kate Russell (Tommy’s daughters); and McKinley Reese VanDyke and Syri Marie Sutterfield (Aimee’s daughters).

Bev was a graduate of Turlock High School, class of 1974. After attending San Jose Bible College, she was a secretary for Purina Mills until becoming the business manager for the Salvation Army in Turlock, where she worked for 20 years. She retired in 2022. During that

time, she contributed to many projects that improved the lives of those in her community. She attended and enjoyed singing and playing her guitar in worship at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Denair. She enjoyed caring for her chickens and riding horses. She was also a very talented cake decorator and made many wedding and birthday cakes for family and friends. She was famous for her yeast rolls, which she made for immediate family during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Beverly deeply cherished her children and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Their love brought immense happiness to her life. May her memory bring comfort to those who love her.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at the Turlock Funeral Home located at 425 N. Soderquist Rd in Turlock. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, officiated by Salvation Army Captain Jeff Breazeale. A burial will

follow at Turlock Memorial Park. A reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Salvation Army located at 893 Lander Avenue in  Turlock.
