Bill Cornell passed peacefully at his home July 31, 2017, surrounded by his wife Gaylene and friends. He was 68. 

Bill was born Dec. 31, 1948 in El Centro, CA to William and Geraldine Cornell. 

He graduated from El Centro High School in 1967. He began truck driving and relocated to Prunedale where he met Gaylene. They were married Feb. 25, 1984 and made Turlock their home in 1989. 

Bill retired from truck driving in 2009. 

Bill enjoyed Nascar and was a devoted Dodger fan. 

He also loved to fish. 

Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. 

Bill was known for his spectacular sense of humor. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years Gaylene White-Cornell, 

a daughter, Aimee Cornell-Garcia and her husband Thomas and three grandchildren: Ryan, Victoria and Samantha Garcia and a brother Johnny Cornell and his wife Debra.

A Memorial Service will be held at Allen Mortuary, Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at Spiritual Center of Turlock, 533 Crane Ave., Turlock.
