Blanch Anderson

Turlock

Blanche E. Anderson, a longtime resident of Covenant Village in Turlock, passed away comfortable and at peace with the full like she lived.  She had just celebrated her 100th birthday on September 5th with family and friends, receiving accolades from President George Bush and Willard Scott.
Blanche was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan and was the last surviving member of 10 children.  She leaves behind 2 sons, Buzz (Sandy) and Steve (Sue), and 2 daughters, Karen (John) and Judy (Stan), along with 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Stan by 20 years.
Blanche touched all she met with her friendliness, warmth and her true love for the Lord. She was a devoted Christian and worked on many committees and did volunteer work for San Jose, Scotts Valley and Turlock Covenant churches.  She will be greatly missed by so many and will remain in our hearts forever.
Donations can be made to: Turlock Covenant Church Benevolent Fund, which benefits Covenant Village of Turlock’s program for impoverished residents.
