Brian Leon Ramos, of Turlock, California, born on August 14, 1947, in Coalinga, California, passed away from Alzheimer’s at age 71 on December 16, 2018, in Freedom, California.

He attended Roselawn Elementary, Turlock High School, and Modesto JC. He was an Almond Grower/Manager in the Agriculture industry for 45 years until retiring in 2013. Few in the Ag industry will be missed more than Brian. He treated everyone with respect and dignity.

Brian was the beloved husband of Susan Gloeckler Ramos for 33 years. As a husband and father, he was “one of a kind” he always exceeded expectation.

He is survived by his son, Cory Ramos; and daughter, Heather Ramos.

He served on the Blue Diamond Liaison committee for over 20 years, was faithful supporter of FFA, a volunteer at Turlock Together, Salvation Army, and PTA. Being a leader in Boy Scouts of America for 20 years he enjoyed teaching Scouts how to make good choices, to take responsibility, be a good person and above all, have fun!

Friends and family are welcome to attend the graveside service on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Turlock Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, (209) 632-1018.
