Burton (Burt) Ray Lindquist passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 in Modesto, CA.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Kathie, and his parents Roy and Olive Lindquist. Burt is survived by his son, Randy Lindquist of Turlock, his daughter, Lorie (Phil) Wagner of Denair, grandchildren, Taryn and Caden Lindquist, and Peter, Paul and Faith Wagner. He is also survived 

by his brother Ned 

(Jennifer) Lindquist 

of Elgin, IL.

Burt was born in Duluth, MN, and was raised in Turlock, CA. He attended Turlock High School (Class of 1961) and Fresno State University where he earned a degree in Engineering. After college he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Burt retired from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2005 where he worked as a Construction Estimator. In his retirement Burt enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in school and sports activities, playing golf, and volunteering at the Gallo Center in Modesto. He was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Turlock.

Burt was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Nov., 7, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, CA. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Nov., 8, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 640 N. Minaret, Turlock, CA.
