Caroline Lorraine Cunha, 86, passed away with her family by her side at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
She was born July 1924, in Winton, Calif. to Manuel and Rose Faia. She married Manuel Cunha in 1942 and they moved to Hilmar. They lived in Denair for 20 years before they settled in Turlock in the 1950s. Caroline worked for Patterson Frozen Foods for 28 years. She belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Teamsters Union Local #748.
She was a wonderful mother and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, Larry Cunha of Modesto, Charlotte Mitchell of San Diego and Darrel Cunha of Suwanee, Ga.; sisters, Evelyn Belk of Turlock and Rosalyn Jones of Arizona; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Cunha; and two brothers.
Visitation will start at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7 with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Allen Mortuary.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Turlock Memorial Park.
