Chuck McKibbin, 74, of Turlock, passed away earlier this month. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953-1957. He later married Betty, and together they settled in Turlock in 1973. He worked as the manager of Grants Market and Benos in Turlock and owned a bait and tackle shop before working in real estate. He was a member of the Lions Club, Bass Club, CFC Rodeo and the Turlock Chamber of Commerce, where he served on the board of directors for a time. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping and gardening.
Chuck is survived by his children, Laurie (John) Frutoz and Debbie (Bill) Burke, both of Turlock; brother, Robert McKibbin of Washington; grandchildren, Joel, Emma, Sean and Caelyn Burke, and Toby and Shelby Frutoz, all of Turlock; and his beloved cat “Rusty.”
He was preceded in death by his sister, Carole Corens.
