Charles Laskey, 87, of Modesto was born in Lowell, Mass. to William and Beulah Laskey. He passed away at Pacifica Senior Living in Modesto. He will be remembered in this area as a long time math teacher at Ceres High School. He also worked for many years as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital. Charles enjoyed playing tennis and bridge. He also served our country in the Army during World War II.

Charles is survived by LaVon Laskey, to whom he was married for 49 years; son, Kim Laskey of Bellingham, Wash.; and a stepdaughter of Oakdale.
