Charles Brown, 53, of Salida, passed away at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. He was born in Oklahoma to Joe and Christine Brown in 1957. Charlie was raised in Hughson and graduated from Hughson High School in 1975. He lived in the Central Valley for most of his life. Charlie enjoyed camping and music, but his passions were motorcycles, motorcycles runs and four wheeling. 

Charlie is survived by his daughter, Katie Brown of Modesto; grandchildren, Edward Mendes and Jada Mendes, both of Modesto; and sister, Phyllis Brown of Modesto. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13 at Allen Mortuary. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
