Annette Simmons, 53, of Hilmar, passed away Friday at her home in Hilmar.

Annette was a native of Los Angeles and was a resident of Hilmar for 20 years. She was a clamp driver for Gallo Winery for 10 years. She enjoyed playing slot machines and loved spending time with her family.

Annette is survived by her husband, Glenn Simmons of Hilmar; daughter, Sabrina Sample of Modesto; son, Justin Simmons of Reno, Nev.; mother, Cora Carpentier of Hilmar; sisters, Sheri Kohart of Las Vegas, Nev., Sandra Whaley of Hilmar and Patty Blocher of Delhi; granddaughter, Shyanne Simmons of Evansville, Ind.; and mother-in-law, Laura Simmons of Turlock.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Dec. 4; family will greet guests from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at West Fork Estates Clubhouse, 500 N. Tully Rd., Turlock. 

Remembrances may be made to a charity of donor's choice. Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Gustine.
