Daniel “Danny” 

Mireles was born on October 23, 1956 and passed away at 60 years of age on February 16, 2017 of natural causes at his home in Modesto.  

He was born in Alpine, Texas to the late Felipe and Cinderella Mireles.  He is survived by his daughters; Jennifer, Julie, Danette, grandson Eric, four brothers and one sister.  His siblings include; Felipe Mireles Jr. (Cheryl), Roberto Mireles (Soledad), Raul Mireles (Karen), Rudy Mireles and Linda Alaniz (Manuel).  He is also survived by many extended family members both in Texas and in the Turlock area.

As a young child, Danny relocated from Texas to Turlock with his family in 1961.  He attended local schools, made many friends, and was a graduating member of the Turlock High School class of 1974.  He aspired and achieved his goal of becoming a hair stylist, owning his own business.  After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, daughters, and grandson.  He is best remembered by his laughter and sense of humor.

A Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6 p.m. on Thur., Feb. 23, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 4040 McKenna Dr., Turlock followed by internment at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd. A luncheon reception will be held following internment.
