David Pombo, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on June 19th in Turlock, CA.He was born in Merced but grew up in Ballico, CA.  He attended Ballico Elementary and Livingston High School. David worked in agriculture, performing various carpentry, mechanical and equipment operations.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed all outdoor activities. David was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He was a loving, kind and generous person who never refused a call from a friend in need.  He loved making new friends and cherished the friendship of everyone he knew and he will be deeply missed.David was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Manuel Pombo and five brothers.  David leaves behind his sons, Shawn Pombo, Jeremy Pombo, Larry Pombo and Matthew Pombo; grandsons Lucas Pombo, Billy Mayfield; granddaughters Melissa Pombo, Ashley Pombo, Ellen Pombo, Elizabeth Pombo, Kaitlyn Pombo and one great granddaughter.Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Friday, June 30, 2017 at Allen Mortuary with burial immediately following at North Hilmar Cemetery.  A Reception will be held at a later date.  Please share your memories at www.AllenMortuary.com.
