David R. Posegate

David died Feb. 28, 2014 at age 66, after a prolonged illness. After his service in the Vietnam War, he went on to complete his Juris Doctor and an M.B.A. at Berkeley, California. He was a longtime resident of Phoenix, Arizona. 

He had a rewarding career, most notable at MicroAge in Tempe, AZ, as well as owning small businesses. He overcame brain hemorrhage and leukemia, and loved to “summit” mountains, and ran and walked a marathon for the Leukemia Society Team-in-Training after his bone –marrow transplant. He never gave up on his challenges. 

He leaves his wife, Elise, brother Steve Posegate (wife Kathy), stepmother Linda Posegate, two stepsisters, two aunts, Deana Park and Geneva Woodbridge, one uncle, Al Johnson, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. His parents, Robert D and Maxcine Woodbridge Posegate, and one brother, Philip Posegate, preceded him in death.
