David Stewart, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all, passed away on May 21, 2026, in Turlock, California, at the age of 82.

David was born on July 23, 1943, in Phoenix, Arizona. On December 23, 1970, he married the love of his life, Syble Stewart, in Phoenix. David proudly spoke of their 55 years of marriage and found great joy in the life and family they built together.

David was a man who appreciated life’s simple pleasures. He loved baseball, completing crossword puzzles, playing cards, bowling, and spending time with his family. David treasured his family deeply and took pride in each of them.

He was a faithful member of Fellowship Bible Chapel in Turlock, where his quiet, unshakable faith in Christ carried him throughout his life.

David is survived by his loving wife, Syble Stewart; his daughters, Donna Stewart (Lorena) and Tracy Key (Jason); and his cherished grandchildren, Brach Malek (Amy) Levi Key, Ezra Key, Allison Stewart, and Jared Stewart.

David will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his quick-witted sayings, his friendliness and the love he shared so generously with those around him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Private services will be held at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
