Donald Lemke, 62, passed away on Nov. 9 surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone his life touched. In honoring Don’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.
Don was born in Modesto to Donald E. Sr. and Jane Lemke. He graduated from Downey High in 1965, Modesto Junior College in 1967, and Cal Poly in 1970. Don worked for Foster Farms for 39 years. He had a passion for fishing, hunting and camping with his family and friends.
Don is survived by his wife, Chris; sons, Trevor and Christine of Turlock, and Travis and Elena of Tracy; grandchildren, Abby and Hayden; his father, Don Sr.; brother, Bill and his wife, Charlotte; and many nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Jane; grandparents, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356-9259.
