Dorothy Augusta Klee, age 102, was born in Irwin, California to Enfred and Lettie Challberg.  After graduating from Hilmar High School and Oakland Beauty Culture School, she then worked as a beautician in Oakland.   In 1944 she enlisted in the Navy where she served in Washington DC. In 1948, Dorothy married Gerald J. Klee and made their home in Turlock. She continued working as a beautician in her home. Dorothy’s passions included playing cards, traveling, framing, refinishing furniture, sewing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  She also volunteered for Nazareth Lutheran Church, Girl Scouts, and Meals on Wheels. She is preceded in death by her son, Gerald E. Klee. She is survived by her daughters, Kristine Kraft (Dave) and Melanie Fitzgerald, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorials may be made to Light  of Christ Lutheran Church. Private services were held.
