Earleen Rae Edberg, born to Earle C. and Hazel E. (Larson) Edberg on May 23, 1938, passed away in Palo Alto, CA after a year-long battle with cancer. She joined her parents in heaven on June 24, 2011.

She graduated from Turlock High School in 1956. While in junior and senior high school, Earleen became an accomplished pianist and organist. She accompanied many instrumental and vocal individuals and groups in competitions and concerts. Earleen was also the organist at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Turlock, during this time.

Earleen continued her education at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington where she graduated with a B.S. in Medical Technology. Her first job was with the Palo Alto Medical Clinic, connected with The Stanford Student Health Services. She continued to work as a Clinical Regulatory Specialist with several research companies. Earleen was a charter member of University Lutheran Church, Stanford, Palo Alto, CA where she continued as an organist for over 30 years.

Earleen leaves behind a sister, Eileen Edberg-Stromme, and brother Craig Edberg (Janice); niece Marcy Wood (Jeff), nephews Kevin Stromme (Amy), Erik Edberg and Cory Edberg; great nieces Morgan Wood and Taylor Stromme.

Graveside services will be held on Sat., Aug 13, 2011, at 10am at Denair Cemetery (corner of Quincy & Zeering), followed by an 11am Memorial Service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 640 Minaret, Turlock. Reception to follow. An informal gathering will be held at University Lutheran in Palo Alto at 11:30am on Sun. Aug 14, 2011.
