Edmona Rice, 78, of Modesto, died on June 22 in Lodi. She was a waitress for 30 years. Edmona loved spending time with her family and friends. She adored country music and movies.
She is survived by her sons, William Horton of Modesto and Edward Horton of Turlock; daughter, Cheryl Stafford of Santana, Costa Rico; brothers, Jim Rice of Clovis and Wayne Rice of Riverbank; sisters, Phyllis Gieszler of Lodi and Alice Buchmiller of Lodi; six grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Richard Stafford and Carl Horton.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 3 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main St., Turlock. Burial will be held at Turlock Memorial Park.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service of Turlock.
