Services for Edna Louise Waaramaa, 84, will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 15 at Turlock Memorial Park. Edna passed away in Turlock at Bethany Gardens.
She was born and raised in Texas, where she married Arthur Waaramaa in 1942. Edna spent time in the Azores, Sparks, Nev., Austin, Texas, New Mexico, then settled in Livingston in 1960. She spent the last five years in Turlock at Bethany Gardens in the loving care of Lorlei and Charlie Bryant. Edna was a lifetime member of the Gold Star Wives of America, Inc. and was an avid reader of books, magazines, and the daily paper. Edna was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She leaves behind her daughter, Carol Smith; grandchildren, Paul (Janet) Kavinoky, Julie (Mike) Minasian, Seanna (Tom) Johnson, Ben Kavinoky and Andrew (Lorie) Stinson; brother, Lloyd Barfell; great grandchildren, Caleb, Nadia, Eli and Nicole.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband Arthur; daughter, Faith Stinson; and granddaughter, Beth Ann Stinson.
