Edward Marvin Bishop

Edward Bishop, 56, of Lexington, Kentucky, died Monday at the VA Medical Center. He was a Moberly, Missouri native born May 27, 1954, an ordained Disciples of Christ minister, adjunct professor of Religious Studies at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and U.S. Army veteran. Edward was a Berea College graduate, Class of 1978, Yale Divinity School graduate, Class of 1981, student in the University of Virginia PhD program.

He is survived by his daughters, Felecia Holmes, Virginia Lee, Monica Bishop; his mother, Nola Hert Bishop; one brother; one sister; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bishop and one brother.

A memorial Service will be held in Missouri at a later date. Reppert Funeral Home, Berea, Kentucky entrusted with arrangements.
