Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Turlock Funeral Home for Eleanor Donnelly-Reiswig, 86, of Turlock. The burial will follow at Hilmar Cemetery.

Eleanor passed away on December 29th at the home of her daughter Glenda Osteen. She is also survived by a son, Larry Blevins of Auburn, CA, Christine Blevins of Fort Worth, Texas, and a brother, Joe Lial of Atwater, CA. Eleanor had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eleanor grew up in local communities surrounding the Turlock area, and lived in the Turlock area with her husband and six grandchildren. She and her husband Lloyd owned a foreign car repair shop for 30 years before retiring.

After a brief time away from Turlock, she resettled in the Delhi area, where she later married Melvin Reiswig.

Eleanor was very active in community clubs and organizations. She belonged to the VFW, Eagles Auxiliary, Amvets, and volunteered her time visiting veterans in Livermore Hospital. She was a member of the Senior Citizens in Delhi, and attended Gateway Community Church in Denair.
