Emily was born Nov 21, 1925 in Hermosa Beach to Russell and Verda Peterson. They moved to Turlock, CA when she was 2 yrs old. Emily graduated from Turlock High School, Class of 1944. She attended College of the Pacific in Stockton and Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles where she met her 1st husband, Dale. They married and raised their 3 daughters in Southern California. After their divorce, she moved to Pioneer, CA fulfilling her dream of owning a small farm. She eventually moved to Grants Pass, OR for several years and then back to Turlock. She was interested in Girl Scouting, quilting, crafting and most of all, her family. She also enjoyed her long time friendships with fellow graduates of Turlock High School. She was an active member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for almost 50 years. She spent countless hours at the LDS Genealogy Library over the years sharing her knowledge of ancestry with all. She passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 10, 2017. She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Leslie Dale Koeppe and her 2nd husband Karl Irving Berriman. She is survived by her daughters Christine Jane Wickliff (Lloyd), Laurie Ann Cash, Susan Louise Koeppe and granddaughters Rebecca Carr (Jeff), Amy Wickliff and Emily Pucong (Karen Beavers).
