Ernest Eisenhut, 85 of Turlock passed away Monday, March 21st at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Mr. Eisenhut was born in Trogen, Switzerland to a family of dairy farmers. Wanderlust lead him to the United State at the age of 24. He was self-employed as a refrigeration mechanic and raised pecans and walnuts.

He will be missed by his wife, Rosie; daughters, Rosanna (Mike) Murata, Trudy (Greg) Louchart, Marianne (Tom) Baird; grandsons, Mike, Matt, Jacob, Kyle and family and friends.

He was a longtime member of San Joaquin Valley Swiss Club and sang in the Swiss Echoes Choir for many years. He enjoyed several trips back to his homeland and would light up at any discussion of Switzerland.

A private Interment was held at Patterson District Cemetery. Friends and Family are invited to a Luncheon Celebration of Ernie’s life that will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Swiss Club in Ripon.
