Faye Hass was born at home in Irwin, California to Les and Lois (Jackson) Weaver in a small house that Faye and Ed later bought and lived in for several years.  Faye was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved by many.  She passed away with her family by her side.

Faye married the love of her life Ed Hass and they had three wonderful sons, Ed Jr. (Nancy), Gary (Towana), Bill (Tami), 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Ed and Faye were married over 60 years at the time of her passing.  They enjoyed traveling together and spending time with family and friends.

Faye worked at Walter’s Studios in Turlock when they were first married, then went on to work for Farmers Insurance as an Occupational Clerical Clerk for 23 years.  After retirement they traveled across the United States with their trailer and small dogs enjoying each other’s company.  Faye lived in Merced County 75 of her 80 years.

Faye was a country girl who was fun-loving and quite spirited.  Faye was a member of Hilmar Covenant Church.  She was a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants and enjoyed collecting Wonder Woman memorabilia, comic books and baseball cards.  She also enjoyed genealogy research, video gaming, puzzles, collecting dolls, hunting, camping, riding horses, family BBQ’S, holidays with family and so much more.  Faye loved life, her family and her friends.  Her door was always open.  She could always put a smile on your face and put laughter in your heart.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, brother Leslie Weaver and sister Janet Womack.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Hilmar Covenant Church with a reception immediately following.  Private interment will take place at North Hilmar Cemetery.
