Febia Aschwanden, 79, of Turlock, passed away on Sunday, June 27 at Acacia Park Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Arkadelphia, Ark. to Foster and Willie Moore. At an early age, her family moved to California to follow work that was available with the crops. In 1947, Febia married Ray Aschwanden, and they raised two children in the Turlock/Modesto area. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and crocheting. Most of all, her family was her life.
Febia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray Aschwanden of Turlock; children, Sandra (Jerry) Thompson of Bonanza, Ore. and Mike Aschwanden of Turlock; siblings, Leona Clinton of Ripley, Okla. and Royal Moore of Reedley; grandchildren, Jerry, Daniel and Eva; and six great grandchildren.
Services have been held. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 416 Downey Ave., Modesto.
