Filomena Gomes Marcelino, 82, of Gustine passed away on Jan. 1, 2011 in Los Banos.
She was born March 26, 1928 in Cedros, Faial, Azores. She was a homemaker for 55 years, and a member of Our Lady of Miracles of Gustine, Brotherhood of St. Anthony of Patterson, and I.D.E.S. Council 176 of Hilmar.
She is survived by daughter, Maria Otila Medeiros of Lathrop; sister, Maria Branco of Atwater; grandchildren, Richard Gina Medeiros of Manteca and Alvaro Gabriel Medeiros of Lathrop; and great grandchildren, Andrew Moore and Jakob Medeiros, both of Manteca.
She was preceded in death by son, Manuel da Rosa of Fall Rivers, Mass. in 2002.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. A Rosary/ Mass are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10 at Our Lady of Miracles Catholic Church, 370 Linden Ave., Gustine. It will be officiated by Father Leonard Trindade. Burial will be private.
