Frances Weinberg, 85, died Thursday at Alexander Cohen Hospice in Hughson with her daughter by her side. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the National Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was born March 1924, in New York to Arthur and Frances Murphy. She received her AA degree from Chabot College in Hayward. After she married her husband, Lt. Richard Weinberg, they traveled around the United States and spent the last five years in Tracy, Calif.
She is survived by her children, Robert and Frances Weinberg, both of Tracy, and James Weinberg of San Francisco; and one grandchild.
