Frances Anderson, 82, of Modesto, passed away at her home on Saturday, Dec. 12. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17 at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 18 at Four Seasons Christian Fellowship, 216 Columbia St.
She was born in West Plains, Mo. She married Willious Anderson in 1945 in Visalia, Calif. He passed away in 1981. Frances was a faithful wife and homemaker. It was always a priority for Frances to teach her children and grandchildren about church and place their personal faith in God. She was a singer and enjoyed dressing up on occasion to enhance her musical presentations. Getting her family together was very important to her, especially for holidays and special occasions at church.
Frances is survived by sons, Ronald (Linda) Anderson of Lodi and Kevin Anderson of Modesto; daughter, Pamela Bandy of Modesto; sisters, Betty Moles of Farmersville, Dorothy Danger of Ivanhoe and Loretta Finney of Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willious Anderson; her parents, Harry and Susan Donaldson; brothers, Alvin, Chester, Lloyd and Robert Donaldson; and sisters, Louise Brittan and Nonie Scott.
