Frank Leslie Nixon III passed away June 21, 2013 in Reno, Nevada at the age of 85 years.  He was born in Turlock, California on May 20, 1928, the first child of Frank and Araminta Ryan Nixon.  He attended local schools before moving to Las Vegas where he started his career with first National Bank of Nevada in 1950.  He transferred to Reno in 1960 and retired from the bank as Vice President and Assistant auditor in 1982.  At the end of the Korean War, Frank was drafted into the United States Army where he served for two years.  Frank enjoyed a long retirement which included travels with his much loved mother whom he cared for until her death in 1998.  He is survived by his sister Polly (Neil) Johnston in Turlock, California, his brother Nick (Gina) Nixon in Boulder City, Nevada and his brother Mike (Pam) Nixon in Denair, California.  He was a great brother and friend and we will miss him.
