Fred Haney, 67, passed away Feb. 16, 2010, at U.C.S.F. in San Francisco. He was born December 1942 in Oakland to Mack and Juanita Haney. He moved to Modesto in 1963, before he settled in Turlock. He was a glazier for 33 years. He belonged to Glazier Union Local and Moose Lodge #1679. His interests included his grandchildren, hot rods, dune buggies and boating.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Haney of Turlock; children, Gary (Karla) Haney of Oakdale and Tami (Ryan) Williams of Fresno, and their mother Carol; step-daughter, Michelle Mitchel of San Ramon; sister, Bonnie Goucher of Ridge Manor, Fla.; mother, Juanita Haney of Oakland; and grandchildren, Shae, Brooke, Cole, Tobin, Mackenzie and Zackary.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Haney.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Allen Mortuary with a reflection and celebration of life to follow in Oakdale.
