Gary Walter Khinoo, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Turlock, CA.  He was born October 21, 1955 in Turlock to Walter and Mae (Oushana) Khinoo.  He was a 1973 graduate of Turlock High School and proud of it.  Gary was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, nephew and friend. He was so loved and admired not only by his family, but by his friends and community.  Gary was a local businessman who, along with his wife Della owned and operated Valley Vending Company and Executive Vending Services for over 35 years. Gary was also a service agent for Shasta Vending for over 26 years.  He was a very hard working man who offered a helping hand without hesitation to anyone he thought needed help.

When Gary wasn’t working at his shop or repairing equipment he loved to ride bikes with his family, going on long walks with his beloved dogs, going to music concerts, downhill skiing and tobogganing. He loved playing with his grandchildren and most of all rooting for his beloved San Francisco 49ers. He and Della were season ticket holders for many years and enjoyed many games at Candlestick Park. They loved traveling across the country and seeing many beautiful sights, which they did many times over the years. One of their most memorable trips was taking a train across the country. It was a true adventure! 

Gary is survived by his wife Della Slagle Khinoo, his mother Mae Khinoo, brother David Khinoo (Karen Khinoo), sister Shana Khinoo Narsa (Adesen Narsa), children Jeremy Khinoo, John Pyeha (Hillary Sakima), Jacquelin Pombo Wingett (Trevor Wingett), grandchildren Lexis Munson, Isabella Andrade and Harrison Wingett, Aunts Mabel Franklin, Melba Jones, Gloria Sarmas and Frances Khinoo.  Nieces, Sophia and Sargena Narsa and many beloved cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his father Walter Khinoo, Uncles Albert Oushana, Robert Oushana, Donald Franklin, Charles Jones, Aunts Connie Oushana and Alice Oushana.

Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church located at 2619 N. Berkeley, Turlock on January 29, 2020 at 11:00 in Turlock.  Lunch to follow at Larsa Banquet Hall at 2107 E. Monte Vista, Turlock.”
