Glennie F. Collins of Turlock, CA passed away Wednesday, September 25th. Glennie was a former farmer, ditch tender, and heavy machinery operator who loved to hunt, camp, and fish.
He spent much of his spare time watching movies and visiting with family and friends. Glennie loved to share jokes and stories. Glennie also loved being a volunteer little league coach in Crows Landing & Newman sharing his love of baseball with youth each summer for many years. Glennie is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Collins and sister Penny Pickens.
Glennie is survived by his father Kenneth Collins of Turlock, daughter Allison Jeffery of Turlock, siblings Ken Collins of Turlock and Winnie Sage of San Diego, girlfriend Teri Stuart of Turlock, and two granddaughters.
Viewing will be held at Turlock Funeral Home 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Monday September 30, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Turlock Funeral Home on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park 575 N.
