She is survived by her four sons and three daughters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Makhan Singh in 1994.

Services for Mrs. Gurmej Kaur will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 10am - 12pm at Allen Mortuary with witness of the cremation to follow located at 247 N. Broadway in Turlock.
