Gurmit Kaur Pannu, a long-time resident of Livingston, died Saturday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. She was born in November 1925 in India to the late Devraj Singh Badyal and Jay Kaur Bains. She lived in Yuba City in 1977, before she settled in Livingston in 1979. She belonged to the Livingston Sikh Temple and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gurmit is survived by her daughter, Santosh Kumari Mann; sons, Sardar Pannu, Harbhajan Singh Pannu, Jasvir Pannu and Balbir Pannu; brothers, Surjit Badyal and Karamjit Badyal; 15 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A Sikh funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 6 at Allen Mortuary.
