Henry went to be with the Lord, August 19, 2017 at 100 years and 4 months old. He was born April 10, 1917 in his rural home in Turlock to his Swedish immigrant parents, Nels and Sophia Olson.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, and Marian, his wife of 55 years. He is survived by his sister, Edith Wierschem, his children: David (Carol) Olson, Janet (Doug) Lewis and Stanley (LoAnne) Olson and his grandchildren: Blair Morgan, Elizabeth Lennon, Erick Lewis, Christian Lewis, Sofia Olson, Maxwell Olson and Stig Olson. He also leaves 5 great-grandchildren.

The services for Henry will be on December 1st. At 10:00 there will be a military service at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella. The Celebration of Life service and reception will follow at 11:45 at Turlock Covenant Church.

Donations in his honor may be made to Turlock Covenant Church Benevolence fund or Westside Ministry in Turlock.
