Born May 29, 1926 and she gained her new heavenly body on July 1, 2017. Hilda was the youngest of five daughters born to Samuel Marshall and Alice Jane (Reed) Banister. 

Hilda was a faithful servant to her Lord Jesus Christ. When she met you, she never failed to ask if you had accepted him as your Savior and if you hadn’t she would share the Good News with you. Hilda had no worries about leaving this earth and joining many family members and friends in Heaven for eternity. 

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Elithia James, Betty Melton, Minnie Harrison, and Wanda Langley.

There will be a private memorial service for family at a later date when she will be buried at a family ranch. Memorials in her memory may be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Midland, Texas, First Presbyterian Church of Berkley, California or Hospice of Midland.
