Howard was born in Long Beach, CA to Reginald and Judy Drew in 1970 and passed away in Turlock at the age of 43.  He attended Turlock High School where he played football, wrestled and was on the honor roll.  After school he joined the Marines where he served in Desert Storm.  He was a talented carpenter and worked in the construction business for 20 years; he enjoyed building things with his hands just to show he could do it.  Howard spent time traveling around the world as part of the Portuguese Bull Fighting Suicide Squad, for 16 years.  He loved grabbing bulls because man wasn’t challenge enough for him.  His hobbies included fishing, target shooting, gardening and being outdoors.  Howard was a loyal and caring person who made everyone his friend.  He would give his life away to save another and dearly loved his Momma and daughter Megan.  He had a band of brothers in the Marines and here at home.  Howard loved everything and feared nothing.

He is survived by his daughter Megan Drew; companion Candice Michalec; step children Isaiah, Josi and Xavier Michalec; siblings Reginald Drew, Carl Drew, Donna Martin and Tina Salazar and step father Bill Boren.  Howard was preceded in death by his parents Reginald Drew and Judy Boren.
