Jacquelyn Winans, 67, of Ceres, passed away on Monday, June 14 with her family at her side. She was born in Modesto to Robert and Clara White in 1942. She lived in Crows Landing and Stanislaus County her entire life. Jackie worked as a bus driver for the Ceres Unified School District for 33 years before retiring. Jackie lived with her daughter-in-law, Sandra Benge, and grandson, Dustin. She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, and was a girls' softball coach. She was a member of Job’s Daughters, Bethel #42. Most of all, her family was her life.
Jackie is survived by her son, Jerry M. Benge of Avenal; siblings, Robert E. White of Sonora and Charline White of Modesto; grandchildren, Sean, Justin, Frances and Dustin; and great grandchildren, Kyla and Juan, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thayer Benge; and great grandchild, Ryen Alexander.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 20 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 21 at Allen Mortuary with burial following at Ceres Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be to Hospice of Emanuel, P.O.
