James D. Cargill (Cowboy), born in Osage County, Okla., passed peacefully early Saturday at his daughter’s home in Turlock. Mr. Cargill was by trade a cement mason and his concrete work can be seen in many places in Stockton, including the I-5 freeway, Stockton Court House, housing developments in North Stockton and many other places.
He is survived by daughters, Doris Cargill and Donna Williams; sons, Daniel Cox and David Means; sisters, Alta Sinor and Pauline Gullans; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 26 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Santa Nella Calif.
