Jean Clark passed away peacefully at her home in Turlock on Wednesday,

January 8th. She was 79 years old.

Born in Phoenix, AZ, Jean was raised in Turlock where she graduated from

Turlock High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Paul & Roy’s

Cabinets in Turlock for many years, before working as a greeter at WalMart in Turlock until her retirement in 2010. Although she lived in Jamestown for some time, she called Turlock her home for most of her life.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Edwin “Lucky” Eyre; her mother,

Greta Eyre; and her brothers, Larry and Don Eyre. She is survived 

by her

son, Don Clark Jr. (Christy); granddaughter, Lauren Clark; and her sisters,

Linda Marez of Turlock and Becky Wisdom (Lee) of Panama.

Private services will be held for Jean’s family at Turlock Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Community Hospice.
