Jeannie Baccelli, 34, of Turlock, passed away unexpectedly at her home. She was born in Modesto to Raymond Baccelli and Pamela Moyer. She started her schooling in San Diego and the family moved to Hilmar when she was in the second grade. Jeannie graduated with the Class of 1995 from Hilmar High School. 

 She was a homemaker and was known for making great salads. Even though Jeannie experienced much pain in her life, she did enjoy exercising. She also loved to shop. In recent years Jeannie enjoyed worshipping at New Life Christian Center with her friends. 

Jeannie was preceded in death by her father, Raymond. She is survived by her son, Gabriel Hernandez, Jr.; her mother, Pamela Collins; step-father, Dwayne Collins; sisters, Roberta Bolton of Turlock and Kandi  Dunham of Merced;  her companion, James Ragland and his daughter, Josalyn Ragland, who Jeannie was helping to raise; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who loved her dearly.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, March 7 at Allen Mortuary. Contributions are invited to help offset the cost of services for Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380. Memorial contributions may also be considered in Jeannie’s name for Shriners’ Hospital for Crippled Children of Northern California, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA  95817.
