Jesse Lee Battin of Atwater born December 30, 1929 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 23, 2011.
Jesse is survived by his High School Sweetheart and wife of almost 61 years, Bernice (Espinola); daughters Diane and Charlotte; son Dennis; grandsons Brandon and Kyle and two great-grandchildren. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents Florence and Virgil; sister Pauline; and his wife’s parents Grace and William Espinola.
 Family and friends are invited to a public visitation from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 2, 2011 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Atwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 A.M., on Monday, October 3, 2011 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Livingston with Interment to follow at Winton District Cemetery in Winton.
