Joan Marie (Nielsen) Feathers, age 78 of Denair, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. Joan was born in Modesto and raised in Hilmar where she graduated from Hilmar High in 1956. She married Randolph Feathers in 1957. She worked as a Lab Supervisor for          Del Monte Foods for 43 years. They lived in Turlock before settling in Denair in 1967. She was a member of Connecting Point of the Nazarene and enjoyed bingo with her friends.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband Randolph L. Feathers in 2009 and her brother Robert Nielsen. She is survived by her son Randolph L. Feathers, Jr. of Denair; Sydney Diann Feathers of San Diego; and grandson Jason Feathers of Denair.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, 1pm at Allen Mortuary.
