Joe Miranda, 46, of Turlock, died in Modesto on June 20. He was born in Herismo, Terceira, Azores. He was a lumber worker for 15 years at Snider Lumber.
He is survived by his parents, Jose and Margarida Miranda of Turlock; sister, Mary Jo Meirinho of Modesto; and nephews, Manuel Meirinho, Christopher Meirinho, Frank Meirinho and Joseph Meirinho.
Rosary and Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Burial will be held at Turlock Memorial Park.
