Joel Allen Burnett passed away Thursday after a long illness.  One of five children and born in Turlock, CA to John and Joan Burnett, Joel lived his entire life in the Central Valley. Joel started his career off as a carpenter in the construction trade.  He was a strong individual with a fun-loving nature.  Joel would give anyone the shirt off his back even if it was his last shirt.  He helped many people through the lowest points in their lives.  He was a good friend to all and a wonderful uncle and grand-uncle.  Joel enjoyed riding his bike and watching movies.  His greatest passions were spending time with the family he loved, barbecuing and going to church. Joel is survived by his son Grant Burnett; brother Jeffrey Burnett and nieces Lindsey Cooper, Jessica Washburn and Pamela Mascorro.  Joel is preceded in death by his parents John and Joan Burnett; siblings John Burnett, Joselyn Mastrude and Jacquiline Washburn.

A viewing will be held Fri. Dec. 19th, 2014 from 2 pm – 8 pm with the funeral service being held Sat. Dec. 20th at 1 pm, both at Allen Mortuary.   Please share your memories at
