Jose Freitas, 62, of Turlock, died Nov. 26 at Emanuel Medical Center. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Whitehurst, Norton, and Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St. in Turlock. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service. A mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Ave., in Turlock.
Jose was a Dairy milker for 5 years and a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock.
He is survived by his wife, Josefina Vieira Freitas of Turlock; sons, Carlos Alberto Freitas, Francisco Vieira Freitas and Antonio Vieira Freitas, all of Turlock; daughters, Maria Fatima Freitas, Nazare Freitas and Maria Regina Freitas, all of Turlock; brothers, Antonio Estacio de Freitas of Flores, Azores and Carlos Freitas of Modesto; sister, Maria de Fatima Freitas of Vancouver, Canada; and one granddaughter, Maria Isabel Freitas of Turlock.
Services under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias.
